CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of July 24, 2023 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 9 of 19 <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works & Utilities Director recommended approval <br />to award a Primary Services Agreement for Generator Maintenance and Repair Services to Alternative <br />Power Solutions, Inc. on a work order basis not to exceed $50,000 annually. <br />P. Award of Bid for RFP -2023-1027 and Agreement with Accurate Power & Technology <br />Inc. for Generator Maintenance and Repair Services <br />Introduction: Consideration to award a Primary Services Agreement for Generator Maintenance and <br />Repair Services to Accurate Power & Technology, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $50,000 annually, for <br />the period August 13, 2023 through August 12, 2026, is requested. (Ref: RFP -2023-1027) <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget at this time, as various operating and/or capital <br />accounts in Public Works & Utilities and other City departments/divisions may be used for future work <br />orders under this contract, subject to available budgets. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works & Utilities Director reconnuended approval <br />to award a Primary Services Agreement for Generator Maintenance and Repair Services to Accurate Power <br />& Technology, Inc. on a work order basis not to exceed $50,000 annually. <br />Q. Employee Health Insurance Renewal for Fiscal Year 2023-2024 <br />Introduction: Approval provides for renewal of City employees' health insurance coverage from United <br />Healthcare for Fiscal Year 2023-2024. <br />Budget Impact: Funds for the City's share of employee health insurance premiums will be provided in <br />the adopted budget for FY 2024 in the applicable Health Insurance expenditure account for each <br />department. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Administrative Services Director recommended approval <br />of the renewal for health insurance coverage with United Healthcare for FY 2023-2024. <br />R. Excuse Absence of Commissioner Chad Albritton <br />Introduction: Commissioner Chad Albritton advised on July 24, 2023 that lie will be unable to attend the <br />July 24t1i meeting due to illness. He has respectfully requested that his Excuse of Absence be placed on the <br />Consent Agenda for consideration. <br />Audience Participation: No one came forward to address the Consent Agenda. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Meadows moved to approve the Consent Agenda. Motion was <br />seconded by Commissioner Aramendia. Motion carried unanimously by voice <br />vote 4-0. <br />
