CASSCLBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of July 24, 2023 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 8 of 19 <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works & Utilities Director recommended approval <br />of Change Order No. l to Task Authorization #10 with SK Consortium, Inc. in an amount not to exceed <br />$122,331. <br />M. Piggyback Agreement with Bekins Commercial Installations Inc for Moving Services As <br />Needed, for Relocation of the Police Department <br />Introduction: Approval to piggyback Lake County Contract No. 21-0714 with Bekins Commercial <br />Installations, Inc. to provide moving services, as needed, for the relocation of the Police Department into <br />its new headquarters building in the amount not to exceed $17,995 is requested. (REF: PBA -2023-1053) <br />Budget Impact: Operating Supplies Account #001-0610-521.52-00 is currently at $201,973. Approval of <br />the contract will decrease the Operating Supplies Account #001-0610-521.52-00 in the amount of $17,995. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Police Chief recommended approval of the piggyback <br />agreement with Bekins Commercial Installations, Inc. for moving services in the amount not to exceed <br />$17,995 for relocation of the Police Department into the new headquarters building. <br />N. Award of Bid for RFP -2023-0984 for Property and Casualty Insurance Services to Florida <br />Municipal Insurance Trust <br />Introduction: Award of Bid for RFP -2023-0984 for property and casualty insurance services to Florida <br />Municipal Insurance Trust (FMIT) is requested. <br />Budget Impact: Funding for the cost of property and casualty insurance premiums is included in the FY <br />2024 Proposed Budget General Fund account 4001-0190-519-45.00 Insurance Premium/General <br />Liability/Auto/Property, Water & Sewer Fund account #401-0190-536-45.00 hnsurance Premium/General <br />Liability/Auto/Property and within each department/division's worker's compensation accounts. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Administrative Services Director recommended approval <br />of the award of Bid for RFP -2023-0984 for property and casualty insurance services to Florida Municipal <br />Insurance Trust (FMIT). <br />O. Award of Bid for RFP -2023-1027 and Agreement with Alternative Power Solutions Inc. <br />for Generator Maintenance and Repair Services <br />Introduction: Consideration to award a Primary Services Agreement for Generator Maintenance and <br />Repair Services to Alternative Power Solutions, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $50,000 annually, for the <br />period August 13, 2023 through August 12, 2026, is requested. (Ref: RFP -2023-1027) <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget at this time as various operating and/or capital <br />accounts in Public Works & Utilities and other City departments/divisions may be used for future work <br />orders under this contract, subject to available budgets. <br />
