CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of September 12, 2016 —Regular Meeting <br />Page 13 of 15 <br />i ♦ •, 1 1 , 9 <br />Congratulated Mayor Glancy on her re-election, and congratulated and welcomed new Commissioner <br />Bill Hufford. <br />Commended Public Works Recreation Division staff and all support personnel who worked hard over <br />the past weekend to accomplish multiple successful events, including Swing "Fore" the Arts, Art & <br />Music in the Park and Food Truck Bazaar, City Hall Art Exhibition, and the Latin Jazz and Art <br />Festival. <br />Mayor Glancy recognized Assistant City Attorney Debra Babb-Nutcher and thanked her for filling in for Ms. <br />Reischmann. <br />15. CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br />No report. <br />16. CITY CLERK'S REPORT <br />• Reminded everyone that the Board Appreciation Dinner would be held Thursday, September 29, 2016 <br />at 7:00 p.m. at the Casselberry Recreation Center. She added that the theme would be "Throwback <br />Thursday" and everyone was encouraged to dress according to their favorite decade if they wished, <br />and to bring ideas for song selections for the DJ. <br />17. CITY COMMISSIONERS' REPORTS/COMMENTS <br />Commissioner Andrew Meadows — Seat No. 2 <br />• Congratulated Mayor Glancy on her re-election and Commissioner Hufford on his election to the <br />Commission. <br />• Congratulated all staff who had been involved in the successful events over the past weekend, <br />including the Swing "Fore" the Arts Golf Tournament, the Art & Music in the Park and Food Truck <br />Bazaar, and the Latin Jazz and Art Festival. <br />Commissioner Sandra Solomon - Seat No. 3: <br />• Added her congratulations to Mayor Glancy and newly elected Commissioner Hufford. <br />• Reported she had enjoyed attending the Latin Jazz and Art Festival on Saturday, September 10, 2016. <br />• Expressed concerns about repeated violations of overgrown grass in the City and wondered if there <br />was a way to avoid constant repetition of the same violations. <br />
