CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of September 12, 2016 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 14 of 15 <br />• Advised she had received calls from citizens about the need for maintenance on the tennis courts at <br />Lake Hodge Park and Dew Drop Park. <br />• Commended staff who had worked hard on all the events which had taken place over the past <br />weekend. <br />Commissioner Bill Hufford — Seat No. 4: <br />• Stated he was glad to be part of the Commission, thankful for everyone's well wishes and looking <br />forward to working with the Commission and staff to make the City of Casselberry better and better. <br />• Added his thanks to staff for a great job pulling off several major events over the past weekend, <br />including the Swing "Fore" the Arts Golf Tournament and the Latin Jazz and Art Festival. <br />Vice Mayor Anthony Aramendia - Seat No. 1: <br />• Stated he agreed with the Commissioners' earlier comments congratulating Mayor Glancy and <br />Commissioner Hufford and commending staff for their hard work on the weekend's events. <br />• Shared that the Legacy Park development was already one-third sold out with the most common model <br />being the Driftwood model. <br />• Reported that he had been appointed to serve as Vice President of the Seminole Cultural Arts Council <br />and the Council was working towards implementing a pilot program to paint the traffic light boxes <br />along U.S. Highway 17-92. <br />• Advised he had participated in Leadership Seminole's Government Day on Friday, September 9, 2016 <br />and had served on a panel consisting of two city managers and two city commissioners. <br />Mayor Charlene Glancy — Seat No. 5: <br />Reported that she had also participated in Leadership Seminole's Government Day on Friday, <br />September 9, 2016, serving on the Mayors' Panel with the mayors from the other six cities in <br />Seminole County. <br />Added her thanks to staff for pulling off several perfect events over the past weekend, noting that the <br />Latin Jazz and Art Festival featuring Nestor Torres had brought in record crowds. <br />There being no further business, Mayor Glancy adjourned the meeting at 6:37 p.m. <br />
