CITIZENS' COMMENTS Mayor Henson announced persons that wished to make comment or make inquiry on any matter not on the agenda, may request to be recognized during Citizens' Comments. Mayor Henson announced the rules of decorum. The following individual came forward: Debra Bauer, 423 Eagle Circle (unincorporated Seminole County), advised that she was the President of the Society for Historic Casselberry and noted how the organization had grown since its inception two years ago. She thanked the City Commission and City staff for their continued support of the organization. Discussion: A brief discussion ensued regarding the potential for having a specific day designated for recognition of historic Casselberry. City Clerk Gardner noted that most cities use the date of incorporation of the city or town as the anniversary date to be celebrated, which for the City of Casselberry is October loth. No one else came forward. 6. PRESENTATIONS/COMMENDATIONS (Continued) B. Best Foot Forward Program Update Emily Hanna, Executive Director of Bike/Walk Central Florida, provided an update on the Best Foot Forward Program, commended the City of Casselberry on the measures it has undertaken to increase pedestrian safety, and thanked the City for its continued partnership with Bike/Walk Central Florida towards its education and safety goals. 14. CITY MANAGER'S REPORT A. Procurement Information Report for the Period January 1 2023 through January 31, 2023 Mr. Newlon advised that the Procurement Information Report for the month of December 2022 was contained in the Commissioners' agenda packets for review. He noted that the report contained information about minor contracts that were issued under delegated authority of staff during this period.
