CITIZENS' COMMENTS <br />Mayor Henson announced persons that wished to make comment or make inquiry on any matter not on the <br />agenda, may request to be recognized during Citizens' Comments. Mayor Henson announced the rules of <br />decorum. The following individual came forward: <br />Debra Bauer, 423 Eagle Circle (unincorporated Seminole County), advised that she was the <br />President of the Society for Historic Casselberry and noted how the organization had grown <br />since its inception two years ago. She thanked the City Commission and City staff for their <br />continued support of the organization. <br />Discussion: A brief discussion ensued regarding the potential for having a specific day designated for <br />recognition of historic Casselberry. City Clerk Gardner noted that most cities use the date of incorporation <br />of the city or town as the anniversary date to be celebrated, which for the City of Casselberry is October <br />loth. PRESENTATIONS/COMMENDATIONS (Continued) <br />B. Best Foot Forward Program Update <br />Emily Hanna, Executive Director of Bike/Walk Central Florida, provided an update on the Best Foot <br />Forward Program, commended the City of Casselberry on the measures it has undertaken to increase <br />pedestrian safety, and thanked the City for its continued partnership with Bike/Walk Central Florida <br />towards its education and safety goals. <br />14. CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br />A. Procurement Information Report for the Period January 1 2023 through January <br />31, 2023 <br />Mr. Newlon advised that the Procurement Information Report for the month of December 2022 was <br />contained in the Commissioners' agenda packets for review. He noted that the report contained information <br />about minor contracts that were issued under delegated authority of staff during this period. <br />
