CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of February 13, 2023 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 9 of 12 <br />9. RESOLUTIONS <br />A. Resolution 22-3350 — Legislation in Progress Regarding the Buffer and <br />Accessway Requirements in Section 3-13.7 of the Unified Land Development <br />Regulations <br />The City Clerk read Resolution 23-3350 by title, as follows: <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, <br />FLORIDA, RECOGNIZING AND CONFIRMING LEGISLATION IN PROGRESS REGARDING <br />THE BUFFER AND ACCESSWAY REQUIREMENTS IN SECTION 3-13.7 OF THE UNIFIED <br />LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS FOR PROPERTY ZONED RECREATION AND OPEN <br />SPACE; PROVIDING FOR LEGISLATIVE FINDINGS; RECOGNIZING LEGISLATION IN <br />PROGRESS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Staff Presentation: Resolution 23-3347 provides for recognition of legislation in progress to pursue Code <br />changes within Section 3-13.7 of the Unified Land Development Regulations to allow more flexibility with <br />regard to application of buffers, landscape strips, and accessways within City parks and associated <br />implementation of active transportation components. Public Works & Utilities Director Kelly Brock <br />presented a brief overview of the item to the City Connnission. <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works & Utilities Director recommended approval <br />of Resolution 23-3350. <br />Audience Participation: No one came forward to address Resolution 23-3350. <br />MOTION: Vice Mayor Busch moved to approve Resolution 23-3350, as presented. Motion <br />was seconded by Commissioner Aramendia. Motion carried unanimously by <br />voice vote 5-0. <br />10. FIRST READING OF ORDINANCES <br />No items were presented for consideration on this agenda. <br />11. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />No items were presented for consideration on this agenda. <br />
