CITY CLERK'S REPORT <br />City Clerk Donna Gardner shared the following information: <br />• The next City event will be the Mardi Paw Parade Saturday, February 18t1i at 5:00 p.m. in Lake <br />Concord Park, followed by the Mardi Gras Music Festival from 6:00-9:00 p.m. There will also <br />be two art exhibits available for viewing during the event, the Seminole County Printmakers <br />Exhibition on View at City Hall from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and a sculpture exhibit by sculptor Eugene <br />Ofori Agyei, also from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Sculpture House. <br />17. CITY COMMISSIONERS' REPORTS/COMMENTS <br />Commissioner Anthony Aramendia - Seat No. 1: <br />• Attended the quarterly meeting of the Society for Historic Casselberry on Tuesday, January <br />31st where there was a presentation and conversation on preservation of the Brightwater Estate. <br />• Attended the Topping Off Ceremony for the new Police Department on Thursday, February <br />2nd <br />• Facilitated Arts & Culture Day for Leadership Seminole on Friday, February 3`d <br />• Attended the CALNO (Council of Local Governments in Seminole County) meeting on <br />Wednesday, February Is' which was hosted by the City of Oviedo. Attendees had an <br />opportunity to view the City's new ladder truck and a presentation on the City's Downtown <br />Transitional Zoning District, after which reports were given by each member organization. <br />• Attended the Food Truck Friday event on February 10t1i until it got rained out. <br />• Stated there will be a historic marker dedication on March 12t1i at Red Bug Lake Park honoring <br />famous actress Hedy Lamar who was a resident of unincorporated Casselberry prior to her <br />death. <br />Commissioner Andrew Meadows — Seat No. 2: <br />• Noted that tonight's meeting was the first being livestreamed by the City, and thanked all City <br />staff who had worked through the process to get to this point, adding that it was a good <br />opportunity for the members of the public who could not attend in person. <br />Commissioner Chad Albritton - Seat No. 4: <br />• Also commented on livestreaming of the meeting, stating it was extremely important and the <br />City had taken great strides in providing accessibility to its residents.
