City Council
December 18, 1989
Mr. Hanson said the access design was changed to
accommodate the access gates at Cassel Creek Boule-
vard and at Derbyshire Road. He said this was
done at the request of Council on August 28, 1989
in an effort to lessen cut -through traffic.
Mrs'. Percle said she would not have any objections to
allowing the access as requested by the applicant since
she was the individual who suggested the use of access
gates.
Mrs. Miller said she would like to have a recommendation
from the City Engineer and comments regarding the letter
dated November 22, 1989 to Jack B. Hanson from Kimberly/
Horn and Associates, Traffic Consultants for the Applicant.
Mr. McIntosh said the main entryway drive area should be a
subject of review and approval by the City Traffic Engineer,
or in the alternative, subject to such redesign as is neces-
sary in the mind of the City Traffic Engineer to meet the
demands of the City.
Mr. Schutte said if the access design is not acceptable to
the City Engineer, the matter should come back to Council
for the ultimate decision. Council agreed.
Mr. Campbell said the plans for the access gates should be
depicted on the plans. Mr. Hanson said the access gate at
Derbyshire Road would be a keyed access, in and out; the
access gate at Cassel Creek would be keyed in only, trip
access out.
Mr. Campbell said the median near the dumpster area needs
needs to be depicted on both drawings. Mr. Hanson said
this would be corrected, this was not a contested item.
12. Land Clearing Plan - Item discussed previously. Mr. Hanson
said he would comply.
13.
