City Council December 18, 1989 Street Lights - Mr. Campbell said a street light plan must be submitted and demonstrated to be acceptable prior to final plat approval. Street light fees are $425 per pole; any installation charges need to be paid for prior to issuance of the initial building permit. Clarifi- cation is requested on the drawings regarding the location of the proposed and existing street lighting on Derbyshire Circle; another street light is requested on Derbyshire Road. Also request justification for the overhead wiring for the two new street lights on Derbyshire Road between Brookside Road and Forest Glen Court. It is also suggested that the street light across from the intersection of Derbyshire Road and Brookside Road be relocated somewhat north to allow for potential park site driveway on the north side of the intersection. Mr. Jack Hanson said he had conferred with Florida Power Corporation regarding street lighting along Derbyshire Circle/Road and Cassel Creek Boulevard and will follow their dictates. Mr. Campbell said he would request that Florida Power give justification re overhead/ underground wiring to try and satisfy the terms of City ordinances that en- courage underground wiring. 6. Sidewalks - Mr. Campbell said a suitably completed Sidewalk Construction Commitment Agreement needs to be provided for sidewalks to be located along Derbyshire Road/Circle and Cassel Creek Boulevard adjacent to the proposed development parcel. Side- walks need to be indicated on the drawings; and handicapped ramp locations should be clearly delineated at all intersections. Mr. Hanson said they were concerned about the existing vegetation on Derbyshire Circle and they proposed to move the sidewalk to the other side of the street, the resident's side. Mr. Campbell said the Planning Depart- ment did not object to the relocation. 7. Proposed Covenants/ Restriction - Mr. Campbell said the proposed covenants/ restrictions need to be approved by the City Attorney and suitably executed and recorded prior to final plat. Mr. Hanson agreed. 8. Required Agreements - Mr. Campbell said these agree- ments need to be approved by the City Attorney and suitably executed prior to recording of final plat.
