Each of the City Commissioners expressed support for these efforts and <br />agreed by consensus to direct staff, the City Attorney, Special Counsel, the expert witness and <br />CPH to proceed with renegotiation of the Consumptive Use Permit. <br />15. CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br />• Briefly commented on a recent Florida Supreme Court ruling which rejected a challenge by <br />cities and counties to a 2011 state law that threatens stiff penalties if local officials pass gun - <br />related regulations. <br />16. CITY CLERK'S REPORT <br />City Clerk Donna Gardner shared the following information: <br />• The next Casselberry Food Trucks event will be Friday, February 10"' from 6-9 p.m. in Lake <br />Concord Park. <br />17. CITY COIV MISSIONERS' REPORTS/COIiiLVIENTS <br />Commissioner Andrew Meadows — Seat No. 2: <br />No report. <br />Commissioner Anthony Aramendia - Seat No. 1: <br />• Reported that the City's Sculpture House had been highlighted recently in the Lake Mary Life <br />Magazine, and that the Florida Sculptors Guild had presented its ReVision project with hands <br />on art workshops for the visually impaired in November and December. <br />• Congratulated Mayor Henson on being sworn in as a Tri -County League of Cities board <br />member. <br />Commissioner Chad Albritton - Seat No. 4: <br />• Also congratulated Mayor Henson on his appointment to the Tri -County League of Cities <br />Board of Directors. <br />• Shared that one of the City's local restaurants, Alex's Fresh Kitchen, had recently been featured <br />in a recent episode of America's Best Restaurants on the Food Network. <br />• Expressed his thanks and congratulations to the three retiring employees who had been <br />recognized earlier in the meeting. <br />
