Each of the City Commissioners expressed support for these efforts and agreed by consensus to direct staff, the City Attorney, Special Counsel, the expert witness and CPH to proceed with renegotiation of the Consumptive Use Permit. 15. CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT • Briefly commented on a recent Florida Supreme Court ruling which rejected a challenge by cities and counties to a 2011 state law that threatens stiff penalties if local officials pass gun - related regulations. 16. CITY CLERK'S REPORT City Clerk Donna Gardner shared the following information: • The next Casselberry Food Trucks event will be Friday, February 10"' from 6-9 p.m. in Lake Concord Park. 17. CITY COIV MISSIONERS' REPORTS/COIiiLVIENTS Commissioner Andrew Meadows — Seat No. 2: No report. Commissioner Anthony Aramendia - Seat No. 1: • Reported that the City's Sculpture House had been highlighted recently in the Lake Mary Life Magazine, and that the Florida Sculptors Guild had presented its ReVision project with hands on art workshops for the visually impaired in November and December. • Congratulated Mayor Henson on being sworn in as a Tri -County League of Cities board member. Commissioner Chad Albritton - Seat No. 4: • Also congratulated Mayor Henson on his appointment to the Tri -County League of Cities Board of Directors. • Shared that one of the City's local restaurants, Alex's Fresh Kitchen, had recently been featured in a recent episode of America's Best Restaurants on the Food Network. • Expressed his thanks and congratulations to the three retiring employees who had been recognized earlier in the meeting.
