Car wash. A facility built for the maintenance of vehicles through washing, cleaning, <br />vacuuming waxing detailing or otherwise to improve the appearance of a vehicle. This use is <br />separate from vehicular service and parts sales. <br />Child or adult care facility. Includes any child center or child care arrangement that provides <br />child care for more than five children unrelated to operator and which received a payment, fee or <br />grant for any of the children receiving care, wherever operated, and whether or not operated for <br />profit, except that the following are not included: public schools and nonpublic schools which are <br />in compliance with the compulsory school attendance law, F.S. ch. 232; summer camps having <br />children in fulltime residence; summer day camps, and Bible schools normally conducted during <br />vacation periods. The provisions of this act shall not apply to a child care facility which is an <br />integral part of a church or parochial schools conducting regular classes or courses of study. This <br />term also includes facilities for the care of adults in a non-medical, non -overnight setting. <br />Commercial kitchen. Commercial kitchens produce take-awav food products without being a <br />drive-through or sit-down restaurant. Food is prepared on-site, sold via on-line or phone orders, <br />and nicked un or delivered for consumption off -premises. There is no seating or tables provided at <br />the facility for consumption on -premises. <br />Community residential home. A dwelling unit licensed to serve residents who are clients of <br />the Department of Elderly Affairs, the Agency for Persons with Disabilities, the Department of <br />Juvenile Justice, or the Department of Children and Families or licensed by the Agency for Health <br />Care Administration which provides a living environment for one to 14 unrelated residents who <br />operate as the functional equivalent of a family, including such supervision and care by supportive <br />staff as may be necessary to meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of the residents. <br />Communitv residential homes licensed through Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services <br />and housing seven to 14 residents, as defined in F.S. ch. 419, shall be considered multiple -family <br />units and shall be accommodated in any multiple -family residential land use zoning designation <br />or any mixed use land use designation which accommodates multiple -family units, providing the <br />community residential units satisfy the criteria of the City's ULDRs. <br />Page 5 <br />Ordinance 22-1573 <br />- <br />- - <br />- <br />- - <br />.
