Procurement Information Report for the Period September 1, 2022 through <br />September 30, 2022 <br />Mr. Newlon advised that the Procurement Information Report for the month of September 2022 was <br />contained in the Commissioners' agenda packets for review. He noted that the report contained information <br />about minor contracts that were issued under delegated authority of staff during this period. <br />Welcomed and congratulated Chris Schmidt on ratification of his appointment as the City's <br />Community Development Director. <br />Stated he was very impressed with the Winter Park Drive Concept Study and agreed that he <br />would like to see it move along faster, if possible, but was glad things were now laid out so the <br />City could continue its momentum with the project. <br />Expressed his gratitude to retiring Finance Director Carol Conroy for all she has done during <br />her employment with the City and congratulated her and wished her the very best in her <br />retirement. <br />15. CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br />No report. <br />16. CITY CLERK'S REPORT <br />City Clerk Donna Gardner shared the following information: <br />• The 13"' Annual Swing "Fore" the Arts Golf Tournament will be held Friday, October 28"' <br />beginning at 7:30 a.m. at the Casselberry Golf Club. All proceeds are to benefit art and cultural <br />programs in Casselberry and Seminole County. <br />• Casselberry Country Rock and Rides Concert and Car Show will be Saturday, October 29"' in <br />Lake Concord Park from 4-9 p.m. and will feature legendary 70's country rock band Pure <br />Prairie League as the headliner. <br />• City Hall will be closed Thursday, November 10"' in observance of Veteran's Day. <br />• The Annual Craft Beer and Blues Festival will be held Saturday, November 12"' from 4-10 <br />p.m. and will feature multiple musical acts including headliner Mike Zito. <br />• Advised that Chief Don Harkins has decided to step down from serving on the Police Officers' <br />and Firefighters' Pension Board and his term will end November 30". Further advised that she <br />will be posting for that position and asked that if anyone knew of someone who would like to <br />apply, to please encourage thele to do so as soon as possible, as the two City -appointed terms <br />also end on November 30"', and she will be placing all of those appointments on the November <br />14"' agenda for consideration if applications are received in time. <br />• Applications for the 2022-2023 Neighborhood Improvement Grant Program and the deadline <br />to submit applications for either the Homeowner Improvement Grant or the Neighborhood <br />
