Application for Florida Recreation Development Assistance Program Grant for Wirz Park Introduction: Approval to apply for a Florida Recreation Development Assistance Program (FRDAP) Grant in the amount of $200,000 for assistance with funding the redevelopment of Wirz Park is requested. Budget Impact: There is no immediate impact to the City Budget. The grant requires a local match of $200,000 for a total project cost of $400,000, and the grant is provided on a reimbursement basis. More than $400,000 is budgeted for this project in the Fiscal Year 2022-2023 Proposed Budget. However, if awarded, the City would need a future budget amendment to recognize the revenue. Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works & Utilities Director recommended approval to apply for a Florida Recreation Development Assistance Program Grant in the amount of $200,000 for assistance in funding the redevelopment of Wirz Park. I. Amendment No. I to the Agreement with M.T. Causley for Building Official Services and Related Budget Amendment #22-056 Introduction: Approval of Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement with M.T. Causley for Building Official Services to amend the scope of services and increase the not -to -exceed annual compensation from $450,000 to $600,000, and related Budget Amendment #22-056 is requested. Budget Impact: Budget Amendment #22-056 will increase the Other Non -Operating Source account #119-0000-389.90-00 and Other Contractual Services account #119-0221-524.34-00 by $200,000. BA #22-056 Explanation of Request: This Budget Amendment seeks City Commission approval to provide funding for the Contractual Inspector Services in the amount of $200,000.
