CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of August 22, 2022 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 11 of 13 <br />The new rates are proposed to be: Effective Date October 1, 2022: Regular Service - $24.15, Side -Door <br />Service: - $34.15; Effective Date October 1, 2023: Regular Service - $25.11, Side -Door Service: - $35.11; <br />Effective Date October 1, 2024: Regular Service - $26.12, Side -Door Service: - $36.12; Effective Date <br />October 1, 2025: Regular Service - $27.16, Side -Door Service: - $37.16; and Effective Date October 1, <br />2026: Regular Service - $28.25, Side -Door Service: - $38.25. <br />Budget Impact: Approval of Resolution 22-3315 will lead to enhanced revenues to be included in the <br />budget to be adopted for Fiscal Year 2023 and beyond. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager recommended approval of Resolution 22-3315. <br />Public Hearing: Mayor Henson stated this was a public hearing to hear and consider comments and <br />questions regarding Resolution 22-3315. Mayor Henson opened the floor for public participation. No one <br />came forward to address Resolution 22-3315. Mayor Henson closed the public hearing relative to <br />Resolution 22-3315. <br />MOTION: Vice Mayor Aramendia moved to approve Resolution 22-3315, as presented. <br />Motion was seconded by Commissioner Busch. Motion carried unanimously <br />by voice vote 3-0. <br />12. OTHER ITEMS <br />No items were presented for consideration on this agenda. <br />13. CITIZENS' COMMENTS <br />Mayor Henson announced persons that wished to make comment or make inquiry on any matter not on the <br />agenda, may request to be recognized during Citizens' Comments. Mayor Henson announced the rules of <br />decorum. The following individual came forward. <br />Doug Markovich, one of the owners of Casselberry Liquor,130 SR 436, located in the plaza <br />being proposed for development of 13J's Wholesale, expressed concerns about how notice <br />would be given for items which would be heard at the next City Commission meeting regarding <br />this redevelopment. He provided a packet of information to the City Clerk for distribution to <br />the City Commissioners expressing some of his concerns and those of other small business <br />owners in the City relating to the proposed redevelopment. <br />No one else came forward. <br />14. CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br />Mr. Newlon advised that Public Works & Utilities Department staff had requested that the procurement <br />process be waived due to the need to make emergency repairs to the geosynthetic liner in the reject pond at <br />
