Recommendations for improvements to the Model would be collected and <br />incorporated or scheduled for future implementation. <br />- Document model results and recommendations in the Water Quality Optimization and <br />Evaluations section of the Master Plan Report. <br />Data Required: Current pipe replacement plan, Current proposed looping list, City staff <br />availability <br />Deliverables: <br />♦ One (1) water quality optimization workshop <br />♦ Distribution Water Quality Optimization section in Master Plan <br />TASK 10.0 — ASSET CONDITION AND RISK ASSESSMENT <br />An asset condition and risk assessment of the water distribution system infrastructure will <br />be conducted to provide justification and prioritization for the City's repair and replacement <br />(R&R) and maintenance program going forward. <br />Task 10.1— Elevated Storage Tank Condition Assessment <br />REI will: <br />- Visit each of the City's elevated storage tank locations in one working day, interview <br />operations staff and document the condition of the infrastructure at each location. <br />- Provide recommendations based on the visual inspection and staff interviews for <br />repairs or replacement with project cost estimates for each component. <br />- Document elevated storage tank site condition and recommendations in the Asset <br />Condition and Risk Assessment section of the Master Plan Report. <br />Task 10.2 — Pipe Repair and Replacement Program Evaluation <br />REI will: <br />- Interview staff regarding pipeline failures including location, occurrence and other <br />known factors. <br />- Review the current service line and 2 -inch to 6 -inch pipe replacement plan being <br />executed and develop a life of pipe replacement criteria based on the City current <br />practices and typical industry standards. <br />- Update the replacement schedule necessary to meet the life of pipe replacement needs <br />based on the best available information of pipe installation year. <br />- Document pipe replacement program evaluation recommendations in the Asset <br />Condition and Risk Assessment section of the Master Plan Report. <br />Data Required: Remote storage design drawings or as-builts, proposed road projects, <br />proposed construction project, pipe material and age, City staff availability <br />Page 9 of 14 <br />
