Audience Participation: No one came forward to address Ordinance 22-1568. MOTION: Commissioner Busch moved to approve Ordinance 22-1568 on first reading, as presented. Motion was seconded by Vice Mayor Aramendia. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 4-0. 11. PUBLIC HEARING No items were presented for consideration on this agenda. 12. OTHER ITEMS A. Selection of Voting Delegate at the Florida League of Cities Annual Conference Introduction: The Florida League of Cities (FLC) has asked each municipality to designate one official to be the voting delegate for the Business Meeting scheduled for Saturday, August 13, 2022. Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget. Recommendation: The City Manager recommended the City Commission consider designating a voting delegate for the Florida League of Cities 96' Annual Conference. Audience Participation: No one came forward to address this item. MOTION: Vice Mayor Aramendia moved to appoint Mayor David Henson as the City's voting delegate at the Florida League of Cities Annual Conference Business Meeting on Saturday, August 13, 2022. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Busch. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 4-0. B. Dew Drop Park Improvements 30% Design Plan Presentation and Discussion Staff Presentation: Healthy Community Manager Dean Fathelbab presented a summary of the 30% design plans for the Dew Drop Park Improvements Project (PW 2110) completed by GAI Consultants, Inc., which included an overview of the plans, cost estimates, comments from the public participation workshops, key staff recommendations, and Parks and Recreation Advisory Board recommendations. Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget at this time. Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works & Utilities Director are requesting guidance from the City Commission regarding the 30% design plans to help develop the next iteration of plans.
