CASSEL BERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of June 27, 2022 — Regular Meeting <br />Page I 1 of 13 <br />- Elimination of the proposed zip line. <br />- Lighting of sidewalks, bathrooms, and parking area only. <br />- Renovation of existing bathroom and addition of a more cost <br />effective pre fabricated second bathroom facility. <br />The City Commission also directed staff to investigate the cost of kinetic exercise equipment and potential <br />funding options and whether there was any significant cost difference in the equipment being spaced out <br />throughout the park or located all together in one location. Staff was also directed to bring revised proposed <br />plans back to the City Commission at either 60% or 90% or possibly both. <br />1.3. CITIZENS' COMMENTS <br />Mayor Henson announced persons that wished to make comment or snake inquiry on any matter not on the <br />agenda, may request to be recognized during Citizens' Comments. Mayor Henson announced the rules of <br />decorum. The following individuals came forward: <br />Al Krulick, 750 N. Thistle Lane, Maitland, introduced himself as a candidate for United States <br />Congressional District 7, which includes Casselberry. He stated that should he prevail in the <br />election in November, he hoped the City would feel free to reach out to him with ideas and <br />initiatives, and lie would do the same for the mutual benefit of the community. <br />Emily Everetts, (no address given), expressed appreciation for the Pride Month proclamation <br />and the presentation on the plans for Dew Drop Park, but expressed concerns about domestic <br />violence issues, the requirement for speakers at public meetings to give their addresses, and the <br />prioritization of the parks projects and funding. <br />No one else came forward. <br />14. CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br />A. Procurement Information Report for the Period May 1, 2022 through Mqy 31, 2022 <br />Mr. Newlon advised that the Procurement Information Report for the month of May 2022 was contained in <br />the Commissioners' agenda packets for review. He noted that the report contained information about minor <br />contracts that were issued under delegated authority of staff during this period. <br />Praised the Police Department for having recently responded to and handled a very tragic <br />incident in the City with great honor and professionalism. <br />15. CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br />Ms. Reischmann gave brief updates on some recently passed legislation which included: a change to legal <br />notice requirements; public records exemption for police officers' geolocation information; change to the <br />
