CITY CLERK'S REPORT <br />City Clerk Donna Gardner shared the following information: <br />Announced for the record that the election qualifying period for Commission Seats 1, 2 and 3 <br />had been held from noon, Monday, May 16, 2022 through noon, Friday, May 20, 2022. Vice <br />Mayor Anthony Aramendia qualified for Seat I and Commissioner Andrew Meadows qualified <br />for Seat 2, each for a third and final term with no opposition, and Commissioner Mark Busch <br />qualified for Seat 3 for a second term with no opposition. In accordance with City Code and <br />State law, all three are deemed to be elected and the Commissioners will be sworn in for their <br />new terms in September. <br />The Get Outdoors Casselberry event will be held Saturday, June 18"' at Secret Lake Park from <br />9 a.m. until noon. Pre -registration is not required. This is an event that allows the City to <br />showcase and encourage use of its waterways and allows attendees to try out kayaks and <br />paddleboards for free. Additional information is available on the City's website. <br />17. CITY COMMISSIONERS' REPORTS/COMMENTS <br />Commissioner Chad Albritton — Seat No. 4: <br />No report. <br />Commissioner Mark Busch - Seat No. 3: <br />• Stated lie had no report but advised he had received some good feedback from people who had <br />seen the press about the Police Station groundbreaking. <br />Commissioner Andrew Meadows — Seat No. 2: <br />• Enjoyed attending the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Police Station. <br />• Stated lie was glad to be continuing on the City Commission for another term and thanked <br />everyone for their support. <br />Vice Mayor/Conunissioner Anthony Aramendia - Seat No. 1: <br />Casselberry Chamber of Commerce Hob Nob will be held Wednesday, June 22nd from 5:30- <br />8:30 p.m. at Lyman High School. <br />Reported on the CALNO (Council of Local Governments in Seminole County) meeting which <br />was hosted by the City of Winter Springs on Wednesday, June Is'. There was a presentation <br />by the City of Winter Springs on home occupation issues they are experiencing, and a <br />presentation by Habitat for Humanity and each of the member agencies in attendance gave <br />reports on issues, projects, and events in their various jurisdictions. <br />
