She added that <br />she felt there should be emphasis on the historic aspect of the project as that could potentially lead <br />to additional funding opportunities from the State. <br />No one else came forward. <br />MOTION: Vice Mayor Aramendia moved to approve Resolution 22-3306, as presented. <br />Motion was seconded by Commissioner Busch. Motion carried unanimously by <br />voice vote 4-0. <br />10. FIRST READING OF ORDINANCES <br />No items were presented for consideration on this agenda. <br />11. PUBLIC HEARING <br />A. Second Reading of Ordinance 22-1565 — Amending the Official Zoning <br />Designation for Property Located at 555 State Road 436 <br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 22-1565 by title, as follows: <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, TO AMEND THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AS ESTABLISHED IN CHAPTER II, ARTICLE IV, <br />SECTION 2-4.3, UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS OF THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS AMENDED AND SUPPLEMENTED; AMENDING THE <br />ZONING CLASSIFICATION FROM CG (COMMERCIAL GENERAL) TO CS (COMMERCIAL <br />SERVICE) FOR APPROXIMATELY 3.01 ACRES LOCATED AT 555 STATE ROAD 436, AS <br />DESCRIBED IN SECTION I OF THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, <br />SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Notice of Public Hearing: The Notice of Public Hearing relative to second and final reading of Ordinance <br />22-1565 was advertised in the Orlando Sentinel on Thursday, April 28, 2022. <br />Staff Presentation: Planner II Antonia DeJesus stated Ordinance 22-1565 amends the official zoning <br />designation for one (1) parcel located at 555 State Road (SR) 436 from CG (Commercial General to CS <br />(Commercial Service). The subject area encompasses approximately 3.01 acres. Notification was provided <br />to the surrounding property owners within 500 feet on February 22, 2022 and written notices for the Official <br />Zoning Map amendment were posted at the subject property on February 23, 2022. The Planning and <br />Zoning Commission, serving as the City's Local Planning Agency (LPA), voted unanimously at its meeting <br />on March 9, 2022 to recommend approval of this item to the City Commission. The request to amend the <br />Official Zoning Map from CG (Commercial General) to CS (Commercial Service) for the subject property <br />is: consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan and the Commercial Future Land Use Map (FLUM) <br />designation; compatible and consistent with the adjacent land uses and zoning districts; and Seminole <br />County water and sanitary sewer services are available to the subject property. <br />
