Resolution 12-2379 — Community Development Block Grant Cooperation <br />Agreement with Seminole County <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT <br />COOPERATION AGREEMENT FOR CONTINUED PARTICIPATION OF THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY AS ONE OF THE UNITS OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT WITHIN SEMINOLE <br />COUNTY FOR U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT (HUD) URBAN <br />COUNTY QUALIFICATION; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />Introduction: Resolution 12-2379 provides for authorization and execution of a Community Development <br />Block Grant Cooperation Agreement with Seminole County. <br />Budget Impact: This item has no impact to the City Budget. <br />Recommendation: The Interim City Manager and the Community Development Director recommended <br />approval of Resolution 12-2379. <br />M. Purchase of Computer Hardware from CDW Government for use with Fire -EMS <br />Documentation Software and Related Budget Amendment #12-053 <br />Introduction: Consideration for the purchase of computer hardware from CDW Government in the amount of <br />$17,922 for use in the operation of new Fire -Ems incident documentation software and related Budget <br />Amendment #12-053 is requested. <br />Budget Impact: There will be a budget impact of $17,992. Budget Amendment #12-053 increases the Fire <br />Department's capital Machinery & Equipment/Computers and Monitors account (001-0310-522.67-01) in the <br />amount of $17,922 and decreases the Fire Department's Regular Salaries and Wages account (001-0310- <br />522.12-01) in the amount of $17,922. <br />BA #12-053 <br />Explanation of Request: This item seeks City Commission approval to provide funding for costs associated <br />with the acquisition of hardware necessary to operate the new fire -rescue incidents documentation software. <br />This budget amendment will provide sufficient funding in the appropriate account for hardware acquisition <br />from the selected vendor. <br />
