CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of March 26, 2012 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 13 of 16 <br />C. Leadership Seminole Board Report - Mayor Charlene Glancy <br />No report. <br />D. Mqyors/Managgers Group Report - Mayor Charlene Glancy <br />Reported that School Board Chair Tina Calderone was invited and attended the last meeting, and the primary <br />discussion was about the search for a new Superintendent, the Interlocal Agreement, and constructive <br />suggestions from the different cities for future changes to get School Board funding issues turned around. She <br />advised that the School Board is having a community input session regarding the four candidates for <br />Superintendent in mid April at the Educational Support Center. Mayor Glancy added that there was also <br />discussion about the storm water fees, and advised that the School Board does not intend to continue to pay the <br />storm water fees after June of this year, and at that time it will be in the hands of the courts. <br />E. Council of Local Governments in Seminole County (CALNO)- Vice Mavor Colleen <br />Hufford <br />No report. <br />F. Seminole County Redevelopment Planning Agency Report - Commissioner Sandra <br />Solomon <br />Advised that the next meeting is scheduled for Thursday at 1:00 p.m. Reported that she had met with the new <br />manager for the 17-92 CRA, David Buchheit, and it was a good meeting. Stated the meeting on Thursday will <br />be the first one at which he will preside. <br />14. CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br />• Commended Linda Moore and the Recreation Division for the Jazz & Art event held on Saturday. <br />Stated it was wonderful and great fun was had by all. <br />Announced a City Commission workshop is scheduled for April 12th at 6:00 p.m. in the Commission <br />Chambers to discuss development opportunities with regard to City -owned properties. He stated the <br />Commission will be taken through a series of questions for a round table discussion and he will be <br />distributing those questions to them tomorrow. He added that two notable developers and also ACI <br />will be there to hear the Commission's points of view, and there may be members of the CRA in <br />attendance, in addition to interested members of the public. <br />
