CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of April 25, 2022 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 7 of 9 <br />Audience Participation: No one came forward to address this item. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Busch moved to approve Amendment No. 3 to Supplemental <br />Agreement No. 2 to the Contract Agreement with Wharton -Smith, Inc. for <br />Construction Manager at Risk for Parks Construction Projects for a <br />Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) in the amount of $3,191,055.00 to construct <br />project PW 2111 Lake Concord Park Art House Expansion and related Budget <br />Amendment #22-033, as presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner <br />Meadows. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 4-0. <br />13. CITIZENS' COMMENTS <br />Vice Mayor Aramendia announced persons that wished to make comment or make inquiry on any matter <br />not on the agenda, may request to be recognized during Citizens' Comments. Vice Mayor Aramendia <br />announced the rules of decorum. No one came forward. <br />14. CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br />A. Procurement Information Report for the Period March 1 2022 through March 31 <br />2022 <br />Mr. Newlon advised that the Procurement Information Report for the month of March 2022 was contained <br />in the Commissioners' agenda packets for review. He noted that the report contained information about <br />minor contracts that were issued under delegated authority of staff during this period. <br />Congratulated Dr. Kelly Brock on his appointment as Public Works and Utilities Director <br />effective June 121x'. <br />Noted the importance of the approval of the Art House Expansion project and the online utility <br />customer portal at tonight's meeting, stating that the Art House Expansion project was the <br />second of the six parks improvement projects approved by the voters that has now been greenlit <br />for construction, and that approval of the customer utility portal had been an objective of the <br />City Commission that had now been reached. He added that the portal should be implemented <br />within four to six months and would be a very big step forward in the City's ability to better <br />serve its utility customers. <br />15.
