Mr. Ramesur continued. <br />The Special Magistrate advised that Mr. Ramesur had received a break with the cancellation of the last <br />two Code Enforcement hearings. Mr. Ramesur continued discussion. Supervisor Acevedo advised that <br />she had emails from Public Works. The emails were entered into record as City composite exhibit A. <br />Jen Nix Assistant City Attorney asked if counsel for the respondent had a copy of the emails? A five <br />minute break was taken to make copied of emails for respondent. Mr. Petrino advised there were no <br />comments about the emails. <br />The Special Magistrate advised that in addition to Officer Acevedo's testimony, she also had affidavit of <br />non-compliance from Officer Acevedo, indicating the property was not in compliance. Based upon <br />testimony and the affidavit, it was found that the property located at 417 Rain Lily Cv. was not in <br />compliance and fines should be imposed. <br />CE -21-000478 641 Kentia Rd. <br />• City code 1-4.3.a No building permit <br />Supervisor Acevedo advised that case 21-000478 located at 641 Kentia Rd., was not in compliance by the <br />date set by the Magistrate and fines should be imposed. Supervisor Acevedo described the violation and <br />advised there are some legal issues with the property. The respondents who were here about the violation <br />have a legal agreement to buy the property, and thought they were able to obtain a permit, unfortunately <br />they are not. The legal guardian will have to obtain a permit. There was a representative present to speak <br />to this case. <br />The Special Magistrate asked is any work has been done on the property since the last hearing. Supervisor <br />Acevedo stated no and due to circumstances the City has no problem with an extension. The Special <br />Magistrate stated this would be problematic because it's not really and extension at this stage. Discussion. <br />Robin Waters advised that she has a contract to purchase the home and there is an attorney and legal <br />guardian for Hazel Powell.
