CITY OF CASSELBERRY <br />CODE ENFORCEMENT HEARING <br />FEBRUARY 17, 2022 <br />The City held its regular Code Enforcement hearing Thursday, February 17, 2022, at 6:30 p.m., in the <br />City of Casselberry Commission Chambers, 95 Triplet Lake Drive, Casselberry, Florida. Ms. Kara <br />Consalo, Esq. Special Magistrate, called the meeting to order at 6:47 p.m. <br />SPECIAL MAGISTRATE <br />Kara Z. Consalo, Esq. <br />CITY STAFF PRESENT <br />Micelania Acevedo, Senior Code Compliance Officer <br />Matthew McDonald, Code Compliance Officer <br />William Andreone, Code Compliance Officer <br />Brenda Cutlip, Recording Secretary <br />Jen Nix, Assistant City Attorney <br />PLEDGE OF ALLIGIANCE <br />The Special Magistrate led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />FORMAT FOR PROCEEDINGS <br />The Special Magistrate read the format for proceedings. <br />SWEARING IN OF THOSE IN ATTENDANCE <br />The Special Magistrate swore in those who would testify. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The Special Magistrate asked if anyone in the audience had any additions or corrections to the Minutes <br />from the October 21, 2021 and November 18, 2021, hearings; there were none. The Special Magistrate <br />approved the Minutes from the October 21, 2021 and November 18, 2021 hearings. <br />STATEMENT OF EVIDENCE <br />Officer Acevedo advised that all events occurred within the corporate limits of the City. The Officer's <br />notes, case narratives, testimony, photographs, supporting documents and PowerPoint presentation were <br />all entered as part of the official record. <br />SUBSEQUENT CASE <br />CE -21-000659 417 Rain Lily Cv. <br />• City Code 1-4.3.a, No building permit <br />Supervisor Acevedo advised that case 21-000659 located at 417 Rain Lily Cv., was not in compliance by <br />the date set by the Magistrate and fines should be imposed. <br />Bradford Petrino, Korshak and Associates attorney for property owner advised that the goal was to <br />provide latitude and obtain more time to bring the property into compliance. Mr. Petrino provided <br />I I rgage. <br />
