There was a <br />representative present. <br />Robin Waters, 641 Kentia Rd. stated the roof of the carport was collapsing, so they took it down. The <br />Special Magistrate asked if they took the carport down already. Mrs. Waters stated yes. <br />Ms. Acevedo explained to the Special Magistrate what part of the carport was removed. <br />Cedrick Waters, 641 Kentia Rd. advised they purchased the house from the buyer (seller) who is in a <br />nursing home, when the document came up is was in the name of Hazel Powell, the house is not in Mr. & <br />Mrs. Waters name. They have come several times to try to get the permit but cannot get the permit <br />because they are showing as the owners of the house. <br />The Special Magistrate let the record reflect that she was not entering the exhibits into record but was <br />presented with a series of documents by Mr. Waters. A contract for sale and purchase reflected that the <br />seller was Hazel Powell Et Al, and the buyers were Robin and Cedric Waters, and the sale was in 2019. <br />Discussion ensued. <br />The Special Magistrate made a finding that CE -21-000478, located at 641 Kentia Rd., was in violation of <br />the City Code Sections as listed on the notice of code violation, based on testimony and evidence <br />provided by the Code Enforcement Officer. It was ordered that the respondent shall cure the violations by <br />1:00 P.M. January 14, 2022. If there is no compliance by January 14, 2022, then a fine of $100.00 per day <br />will be imposed for each day the property remains in non-compliance.
