Collection Infrastructure account #402-0751-536.63-40 for Project PW 2007 and decrease Renewal <br />and Replacement Distribution and Collection Infrastructure account #402-0751-536.63-40 for Project PW <br />2008 in the amount of $274,989.80 for construction of the Sausalito Force Main Replacement project. <br />Funding for the project that is described as Eastbrook 1 WM Replacement (PW 2008) will be temporarily <br />reduced to fully fund the Sausalito Force Main Replacement project. <br />- M ►I VX11ffi <br />Explanation of Request: This item seeks City Commission approval to provide additional funding for <br />Sausalito Force Main Replacement Project in the amount of $274,990 (includes 10% contingency). The <br />total project cost is $1,602,225. <br />Account Number Account Description Amount <br />Increase: <br />402-0751-536.63-40 Infrastructure/PW 2007 $274,990 <br />Decrease: <br />402-0751-536.63-40 Infrastructure/PW 2008 $274,990 <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval to award <br />ITB -2022-0826 and execution of a Construction Agreement with a value of $1,456,568 for the Sausalito <br />Force Main Replacement project with U.S. Water Services Corporation and approval of related Budget <br />Amendment #22-021 in the amount of $274,989.80. <br />Audience Participation: No one came forward to address this item. <br />MOTION: Vice Mayor Aramendia moved to approve the award of ITB -2022-0826, <br />execution of a Construction Agreement with a value of $1,456,568 with U.S. <br />Water Services Corporation for the Sausalito Force Main Replacement <br />project, and approval of related Budget Amendment #22-021 in the amount <br />of $274,989.80, as presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Busch. <br />Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5-0. <br />B. Volunteer Board Appointments <br />Planning & Zoning Commission <br />The Planning & Zoning Commission consists of seven (7) members with one (1) alternate. Two regular <br />members have applied for reappointment. Alva (Ed) Bowman is eligible for reappointment to a second full <br />term and Dan Hale is eligible for reappointment to a third full term. Currently there is one (1) regular <br />member vacancy due to Rob Phillips being termed out, and four applications have been received, with each <br />applicant indicating the Planning & Zoning Commission as their primary choice. Those four applicants are <br />Jim Burnett, who is the current alternate member, Larry Contrucci, Harley Parkhurst, and Paul Yeargain. <br />Board Policy provides that the City Commission first consider appointment of the alternate member to any <br />
