CASSGLBCRRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of October 11, 2021 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 6 of 17 <br />MOTION: Commissioner Aramendia moved to approve the Consent Agenda, as presented. <br />Motion was seconded by Vice Mayor Busch. Motion carried unanimously by <br />voice vote 5-0. <br />8. DISCUSSION ITEMS <br />A. Future Agenda Items <br />No items were presented for consideration. <br />B. Municipal Advisory Committee (Metroplan) Report <br />Mayor Henson had no report but advised that the next meeting would be November 4' and he would be <br />attending in person. <br />C. Council of Local Governments in Seminole County CALNO) Report <br />Commissioner Aramendia reported that the group was hosted by the City of Oviedo on Wednesday, October <br />6", and there were presentations given by Philip Tummarello, International Board Member at Bikers <br />Against Trafficking, on national and local statistics about human trafficking, and by Kelly Welch, Program <br />Administrator for the Florida Department of Health in Seminole County on the Healthy Seminole <br />Collaborative program which covers a variety of health initiatives and services available to Seminole <br />County residents. Commissioner Aramendia noted that there was a current initiative to encourage all the <br />cities to have a trail health program to get citizens out walking and biking the trails and he shared with them <br />what the City of Casselberry had done and was doing to promote use of the trail system and healthy <br />lifestyles. Each of the member organizations then gave reports on various issues and information about <br />their respective jurisdictions which included budgets, events, and projects and he advised that his report <br />had included the City's budget, the Police Department, Public Works compound, parks projects, and <br />progress on development of potential uses for the Brightwater property. <br />D. Leadership Seminole Board Report <br />No report. <br />E. Mayors/Managers Group Report <br />Mayor Henson had no report but advised the next meeting would be held October 21St <br />
