Authorization to Engage Furniture Brothers to Construct and Install a Reception <br />Desk in the City Hall Lobby and Related Budget Amendment #22-002 <br />Introduction: Approval of the construction of a reception desk in the City Hall lobby and approval of <br />related Budget Amendment #22-002 to provide capital funding for the construction of a reception desk in <br />the City Hall lobby is requested. <br />Budget Impact: Budget Amendment #22-002 will increase the General Fund Improvements Other account <br />#001-0120-512.63-24 and General Fund Other Non -Operating Sources account #001-0000-389.90-00 by <br />$23,500 (for FY 2021 to FY 2022 rollover plus additional funding to complete the workstation fabrication.) <br />BA #22-002 <br />Explanation of Request: This budget amendment seeks City Commission approval to rollover FY 2021 <br />budgeted funds that will instead be expended in FY 2022 for the capital fabrication of workstation at the <br />lobby in the amount of $20,000. This item also seeks approval to provide additional funding necessary to <br />complete the project in the amount of $3,500. <br />Account Number Account Description Amount <br />Increase: <br />001-0120-512.63-24 Improvements -Other $23,500 <br />001-0000-389.90-00 Other Non-operating Sources $23,500 <br />Recommendation: The City Manager recommended approval of the construction of a reception desk in <br />the City Hall lobby and related Budget Amendment #22-002 in the amount of $23,500. <br />E. Application for Florida Recreation Development Assistance Program Grant for <br />"Wheel Park" — Phase 1 <br />Introduction: Approval to submit a Florida Recreation Development Assistance Program (FRDAP) grant <br />application for the development of a new park in northern Casselberry under the working name "Wheel <br />Park" — Phase 1 is requested. <br />Budget Impact: There is no immediate impact to the City Budget. The grant requires a local match of <br />$200,000 for a total project cost of $400,000, and the grant is provided on a reimbursement basis. More <br />than $200,000 is already budgeted for this project in the Fiscal Year 2021-2022 Adopted Budget. However, <br />if awarded, the City would need a future Budget Amendment to recognize the revenue. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval to submit <br />an application for a Florida Recreation Development Assistant Grant for "Wheel Park" — Phase 1 in the <br />total amount of $400,000 consisting of $200,000 in grant funding and $200,000 in local match. <br />Audience Participation: No one came forward to address the Consent Agenda. <br />
