Planning & Zoning Commission/ <br />Local Planning Agency Minutes <br />October 14, 2020 <br />Page 2 <br />Fifth Item of Business: Approval of Minutes for the meeting held on September 9, 2020. <br />Mr. Phillips stated the Chair was open for a motion on the approval of minutes for the meeting held on <br />Wednesday, September 9, 2020. Mr. Bowman moved to accept the September 9, 2020 minutes. Ms. Campbell <br />seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously by voice vote. <br />Sixth Item of Business: Disclosure of Ex Parte Communications. <br />No disclosure of Ex Parte Communications was made by the Commissioners. <br />Seventh Item of Business: SPR 20.06: Amenities Center Improvements at Summerloch Green. A Site Plan <br />Modification to the existing amenities center located in the Summerloch Green community at 999 Mango <br />Drive. <br />Mr. Jonathan Tardif, Planner I, reviewed the information provided in his memorandum dated October 14, <br />2020 to the City of Casselberry Planning and Zoning Commission. Mr. Tardif said staff recommends that case <br />number SPR 20-06 be approved with staffs conditions, based on the staff report and the testimony and evidence <br />presented, that the request meets the applicable provisions of the Unified Land Development Regulations and is <br />consistent with the Comprehensive Plan as per the written findings contained within the staff report. He said the <br />conditions of approval are as follows: <br />1. The property owners shall submit an application to rezone the Summerloch Green community within six <br />months of site plan approval. <br />2. The site plan approval shall be valid for one (1) year. An extension request may be submitted prior to <br />the expiration of this approval. <br />3. Provide copies of all local, regional, state, and federal permits for the project to the City prior to <br />commencement of development. <br />4. All of the above conditions shall be fully and faithfully executed, or the site plan shall become null and <br />void. <br />A brief discussion ensued regarding the rezoning of the property, the parking requirements for the site, and <br />the sidewalk. <br />Mr. Phillips asked the applicant to come forward. Ms. Sarah Anderson, Kimley Horn & Associates, 445 24th <br />Street, Vero Beach, Florida came forward. There were no questions for the applicant. <br />Mr. Phillips asked if there was anyone in the audience who wished to speak in favor of, or in opposition to, <br />the request. No one came forward. <br />
