Planning & Zoning Commission/ <br />Local Planning Agency Minutes <br />April 14, 2021 <br />Page 2 <br />report and the testimony and evidence presented, that the request meets the applicable provisions of the Unified <br />Land Development Regulations and is consistent with the Comprehensive Plan as per the written findings contained <br />in the staff report. <br />In response to the Commission's question, Ms. Neysa Borkert, City Attorney, explained the purpose of the <br />PUD Agreement process. <br />Mr. Bakalla arrived at the meeting at 6:41 p.m. <br />Mr. Phillips asked the applicant to come forward. Mr. Sam Sebaali, Florida Engineering Group, 5127 South <br />Orange Avenue, Suite 200, Orlando, Florida came forward. In response to the Commission's question, Mr. Sebaali <br />explained that the roundabout serves as an access for the lots on the north side of the development and to provide <br />an area for emergency vehicles to turn around. He said the roundabout would have landscaping and parking. <br />In response to the Commission's question, Ms. Hyson stated that this development is located within the <br />Oxford Park Overlay District. In response to the Commission's question regarding installation of electric car charging <br />stations in the Oxford Park Overlay District, Ms. Hyson stated she would need to research the City Code. <br />Mr. Phillips asked if there was anyone in the audience who wished to speak in favor of, or in opposition to, <br />the request. No one came forward. <br />In response to Mr. Bakalla's question regarding his ability to vote on this agenda item due to the fact he <br />missed staffs presentation, Ms. Borkert explained that he could vote on this item. She said the information staff <br />presented was included in the staff report. <br />City. <br />A general discussion ensued regarding the installation of car charging stations for future development in the <br />Mr. Phillips asked for a motion to address ZB 21-01. Ms. Divita made a motion that the Planning and <br />Zoning Commission recommend approval of case number ZB 21-01 to the City Commission, based on the staff <br />report, the testimony and evidence presented and Attachments A & B. Ms. Saporito seconded the motion. The <br />motion passed unanimously by voice vote. <br />
