Board Appointments <br />Planning & Zoning Commission <br />MOTION: Commissioner Aramendia moved to reappoint Ronald Bryan, Michael Wadley <br />and Stanley Weinroth to the Planning and Zoning Commission, each for a <br />second full term effective to January 31, 2016. Motion was seconded by <br />Commissioner Solomon. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5-0. <br />MOTION: Vice Mayor Hufford moved to appoint Edmund Bakalla as a regular member <br />and Victor Wise as the alternate to the Planning and Zoning Commission, each <br />for a first full term effective to January 31, 2016. Motion was seconded by <br />Commissioner Aramendia. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5-0. <br />Parks & Recreation Advisory Board <br />MOTION: Commissioner Aramendia moved to reappoint Jessica Eckhart, Cheryl Evans <br />and Daphne Keys to the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board, each for a second <br />full term effective to January 31, 2016. Motion was seconded by Commissioner <br />Solomon. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5-0. <br />Mayor Glancy noted that the two applicants for the remaining vacancy had been appointed to the Planning & <br />Zoning Commission earlier in the meeting, leaving no available applicants to fill the open unexpired term. <br />City Clerk Donna Gardner advised she would continue to seek recruitment of potential board members. <br />Police Officers' and Firefighters' Pension Board <br />MOTION: Commissioner Solomon moved to appoint Bill Hufford to the Police Officers' & <br />Firefighters' Pension Board for the remainder of the unexpired term caused by <br />the resignation of Harold Stewart, term effective to November 30, 2014. Motion <br />was seconded by Commissioner Aramendia. <br />Vice Mayor Hufford advised she would be abstaining from the vote due to a conflict caused by the fact that the <br />applicant for the appointment was her spouse. <br />Motion carried by voice vote 4-0, Vice Mayor Hufford abstaining. <br />The original Form 813 Memorandum of Voting Conflict for County, Municipal, and Other Local Public <br />Officers signed by Vice Mayor Hufford is attached to and made a part of these minutes. <br />
