Excuse Absence of Commissioner Chad Albritton <br />Introduction: Commissioner Chad Albritton has advised that he is ill and unable to attend the June 28, <br />2021 Regular City Commission meeting. He has respectfully requested that his Excuse of Absence be <br />placed on the Consent Agenda for consideration. <br />Audience Participation: No one came forward to address the Consent Agenda. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Aramendia moved to amend the Consent Agenda to include Item <br />F — Excuse of Absence for Commissioner Chad Albritton, and to approve the <br />Consent Agenda, as amended. Motion was seconded by Vice Mayor Busch. <br />Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 4-0. <br />Mayor Henson advised for the record that a scrivener's error on Agenda Item 9.A. under Resolutions <br />had been corrected to reflect the correct Resolution number as Resolution 21-3246. <br />8. DISCUSSION ITEMS <br />A. Future Agenda Items <br />Commissioner Aramendia advised that as a result of the City Commission's approval to purchase the <br />Brightwater property from the Casselberry family he had reached out to State Representative David Smith <br />and Senator Jason Brodeur to see what assistance could be given to the City for remodeling of the property <br />once purchased. The City Manager was also included in these discussions. Representative Smith and <br />Senator Brodeur indicated that funds could be appropriated for assistance if a concept plan was completed <br />by approximately November I S'. Mr. Newlon added that the closing on the property had not yet occurred, <br />but in order to receive this assistance the process would have to move quickly to develop a concept, <br />
