Owners or lessees of any bmf security alarm system, as <br />indicated in Section 34-36(a), shall provide a person to <br />res-ponse respond to the alarm location, when requested, in <br />order to reset or disable the alarm within thirty (30) minutes of <br />notification. The City shall charge a late response fee of Fifty <br />Dollars ($50.00) for a late response of more than thirty (30) <br />minutes. <br />Section 34-38. False alarms. <br />(a) For each response by the Police Department to a <br />ba-rg+af security alarm, the Department will cause a <br />report to be filed, classifying the alarm as one of the <br />following: <br />(1 False alarm or system test with no <br />notification. <br />(2) Valid alarm for cause designated. <br />(b) Upon the reception of a false alarm, or system test with <br />no notification, the Police Department shall issue a <br />warning notice to the owner or lessee or manager of the <br />premises involved. The owner or lessee or manager <br />shall file a written report with the Police Department <br />within five (5) working days of receipt of the warning <br />notice indicating that the alarm system in question has <br />actually been examined by a repair service authorized <br />by the system manufacturer and either repaired or <br />certified to be in good working order. The report shall <br />also contain the legal description of the real property <br />upon which the btifglar security alarm system is <br />installed. Failure to respond within five (5) working <br />days shall result in a first response violation fee being <br />levied. <br />(c) There shall be a service fee charged for false alarms or <br />systems tests conducted without prior notice to the City <br />as follows.- <br />No <br />ollows: <br />No fee shall be assessed for any of the <br />first three (3) alarms at the same <br />Ordinance No. D I- /0 3 % <br />Page 2 <br />
