ORDINANCE NO. 01 -1 037 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA; <br />AMENDING DIVISION 2 OF ARTICLE II OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES <br />OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA TO CHANGE ALL <br />REFERENCES FROM "BURGLAR" ALARM TO "SECURITY" ALARM; <br />AMENDING SECTIONS 34-36 THROUGH 34-38 OF ARTICLE 11, DIVISION <br />2 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, <br />FLORIDA TO PROVIDE FOR SECURITY ALARMS: PROVIDING FOR <br />CODIFICATION, SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />NOW THEREFORE, be it enacted by the City Commissioner of the City of <br />Casselberry, Florida, as follows: <br />SECTION 1. That Division 2 of Article II of the Code of Ordinances of the City of <br />Casselberry, Florida is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />Division 2. SURER SECURITY ALARMS. <br />SECTION 2. That Sections 34-36 through 34-38 of the Code of Ordinances of the <br />City of Casselberrv, Florida, is hereby amended to read as follows - <br />Section 34-36. Registration. <br />(a) Prior to the installation or use of any btrrg-lar security <br />alarm system giving an external or remote alarm, the <br />owner or lessee of the premises shall register the <br />btifgFarse_ curity alarm system with the City Police <br />Department with such information as the department <br />deems necessary to provide adequate response to the <br />alarm. Refusal to register any alarm with the City may <br />result in the City not responding to the alarm when it is <br />activated. <br />(b) Owners or lessees of existing bdfg'8 security alarm <br />systems shall have sixty (60) days from the date of the <br />ordinance from which this Section is derived to comply <br />with the registration and notice requirements of this <br />Section. <br />Section 34-37. Response to alarm by owner. <br />
