Motion carried unanimously <br />by voice vote 5-0. <br />8. DISCUSSION ITEMS <br />A. Future Agenda Items <br />Commissioner Solomon stated that now that Phase 3 of the bike trails was nearing completion she would like <br />to have a future discussion about how to facilitate extension of the bike trails to provide connectivity between <br />all the cities from Winter Park through Casselberry, Lake Maly and Winter Springs. <br />B. Municipal Advisory Committee (Metroplan) Report — Mayor Glancy <br />No report. <br />C. Leadership Seminole Board Report — Mayor Glancy <br />No report; however, advised that her final Leadership Seminole class would be on Friday, May 2, 2014. <br />D. Mayors/Managers Group Report — Mayor Glancy <br />Advised she had been unable to attend the last meeting; however Mr. Newlon attended and would give a brief <br />report. Mr. Newlon reported that the former Economic Development Director for Seminole County gave a <br />presentation relating to economic development, and there was discussion about the upcoming penny sales tax <br />referendum. He added that there would be no meeting in May, July or August; however there would be one <br />in June. <br />E. Council of Local Governments in Seminole County (CALNO) Report — Vice Mayor <br />Hufford <br />No report. <br />F. Seminole County Redevelopment Planning Agency Report — Commissioner Solomon <br />Advised that the next meeting would be held on Thursday, May 1, 2014 and the only item on the agenda was <br />consideration of an improvement project along U.S. Highway 17-92 in Casselberry from Seminola Boulevard <br />
