CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of March 10, 2014 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 8 of 11 <br />Mr. James Fraleigh, 23 Teresa Court, expressed concerns that the Classification and <br />Compensation Study and the proposed adjustments to the pay grades did not address <br />employees receiving back pay for the past four years in which they did not receive raises. <br />Commissioner Aramendia returned to the Commission Chambers at 5:17 p.m. <br />2. Mr. John Casselberry, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, voiced concerns about the effect any salary <br />adjustments made as a result of the Study would have on the budget, and did not feel <br />increases should be automatic if the Study is approved by the Commission. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Solomon moved to approve Resolution 14-2585, as presented. <br />Motion was seconded by Commissioner Aramendia. Motion carried <br />unanimously by voice vote 5-0. <br />10. FIRST READING OF ORDINANCES <br />No items were presented for consideration on this agenda. <br />11. CITIZENS' COMMENTS <br />Mayor Glancy announced persons that wished to make comment or make inquiry on any matter not on the <br />agenda, may request to be recognized during Citizens' Comments. Mayor Glancy announced the rules of <br />decorum. <br />Mr. Robert Elliott, IV, 538 Cascade Circle, Unit 104, stated he had been a resident of <br />Casselberry for 19 years and called attention to a letter he had previously sent to the City <br />Manager and the City Commission suggesting that the flyover bridge at Red Bug Lake Road <br />and State Road 436 be given a name which would help to call attention to the City of <br />Casselberry. He suggested that due to the way it curved it could be called something like <br />"Casselberry Curve". <br />
