Council of Local Governments in Seminole County (CALNO) Report — <br />Commissioner Hufford <br />Reported that the meeting on February 5, 2014 had been hosted by the City of Casselberry and commended <br />Water Resources Manager Alan Ambler for his presentation on pipe -bursting. She added that there had been <br />representatives of several organizations which were in opposition to the proposed penny sales tax who were <br />present, and there had been some discussion and explanation of how the tax would be utilized. She extended <br />thanks to Chick Fil A for providing food for the meeting. <br />F. Seminole County Redevelopment Planning_ Agency Report — Vice Mayor Solomon <br />No report. <br />9. Second Reading of Ordinance 14-1402 — Adoption of Capital Improvement Program <br />as Part of the City Comprehensive Plan <br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 14-1402 by title as follows: <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, TO ADOPT THE FIVE YEAR <br />CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT SCHEDULE 2014-2018 AS PART OF THE CITY'S COMPREHENSIVE <br />PLAN IN ACCORDANCE WITH MANDATES SET FORTH IN CHAPTER 163, FLORIDA <br />STATUTES; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Notice of Public Hearing: The Notice of Public Hearing for Ordinance 14-1402 was advertised in the <br />Orlando Sentinel on Thursday, January 30, 2014. <br />Staff Presentation: Community Development Director Sandra Smith stated Ordinance 14-1402 was <br />essentially a housekeeping matter required by the Florida Statutes for the City Commission to adopt the Capital <br />Improvement Program (CIP) (adopted in September, 2013 as part of the City's Fiscal Year 2013-2014 budget) <br />as part of the City's Comprehensive Plan. <br />
