CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION Minutes of April 14, 2014— Regular Meeting Page 4 of 19 SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT NO. 1 WITH VANASSE HANGEN BRUSTLIN, INC. FOR ADDITIONAL SERVICES RELATED TO CITYWIDE PAVEMENT REHABILITATION PROJECTS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." Introduction: Resolution 14-2590 approves Amendment No. 1 to Supplemental Agreement No. 1 with Vanasse Hangen Brustlin, Inc., to provide Professional Transportation Engineering Services associated with the City-wide pavement rehabilitation projects, for an amount notto exceed $49,660, and authorizes the Mayor to execute said document on behalf of the City. Budget Impact: $1,400,000 was budgeted in FY 2014 in Capital Improvement Fund account #305-0720- 541.63-40 for Road Rehabilitation for Areas 4-7. This budget included construction and construction administration services. There are no other commitments against this portion of the project to -date; therefore, sufficient funding is available. Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of Resolution 14-2590. D. Resolution 14-2592 — Day Camp Provider Agreement with Seminole County "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY AND SEMINOLE COUNTY FOR THE RECEIPT OF COMMUNITY SERVICES BLOCK GRANT AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT GRANT FUNDING FOR DAY CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." Introduction: Resolution 14-2592 agrees to the terms and approves the Day Camp Provider Agreement between the City of Casselberry and Seminole County under contract # 14SB-OD-0669-01-025, CFDA #93.569 for receipt of up to $19,000 in Community Services Block Grant funding as Day Camp Scholarships for the Casselberry Day Camp Program. Budget Impact: Upon completion of summer camp, a total of the amount to be reimbursed by the County will be calculated. A budget amendment will be prepared at that time to recognize the expense for the cost of summer camp provided to the number of students attended who met the criteria per the agreement and to recognize the associated CSBG (Community Services Block Grant) revenue for the reimbursement from the County. The maximum amount that is possible for the City to be reimbursed is $19,000 ($780/student x 25 students). Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of Resolution 14-2592.
