Second vaccines will be available on Friday, April 16"' for <br />those who received their first vaccine at the last vaccine event hosted by the City. <br />• The latest edition of the Casselberry Quarterly newsletter went out on Thursday, April lsr and <br />can be accessed on the City's website at www.casselberry.org. This edition covers April, May, <br />and June. Links are also available on the City's social media sites, and anyone wishing to <br />receive notification of future editions and other communications from the City can sign up on <br />the Notify Me section of the City's website at www.casselberry.or \notifyme. <br />• The City is bringing back events safely and slowly on a limited basis and the first will be the <br />Rock N' Blues Concert and Car Show which will be held Memorial Day Weekend on Saturday, <br />May 29"' at Lake Concord Park from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Public Works Director/Acting City <br />Manager Mark Gisclar added that the musical act for the event would be a band called <br />Apocalypse Blues Revival, which included two members of the rock band Godsmack which <br />has sold over 90 million albums. <br />• The next event following the Rock N' Blues Concert and Car Show will be Food Truck Friday <br />on June l I" from 6:00 p.m. — 9:00 p.m. This monthly event was formerly known as Art and <br />Music in the Park but will now just consist of food trucks and musical entertainment, and no <br />longer include the art component. <br />• Since the Earth Fest event has been cancelled this year due to COVID-19, the City is hosting a <br />Tree Giveaway on Saturday, May 1 St at Secret Lake Park in celebration of Arbor Day. The <br />Tree Giveaway will be for City residents only who will have to sign up in advance and will be <br />given a pickup time based on their tree selection. Information on how to sign up for the event <br />and the types of trees available can be found on the City's website and is also featured in the <br />Quarterly Newsletter. <br />17. CITY COMMISSIONERS' REPORTS/COMMENTS <br />Commissioner Anthony Aramendia - Seat No. 1: <br />No report. <br />Commissioner Andrew Meadows — Seat No. 2: <br />• Recognized Ms. Judi Romboli, Executive Assistant to the City Manager, who recently retired <br />after 26 years of service to the City. City Clerk Donna Gardner advised that there would be a <br />formal proclamation recognizing Ms. Romboli's service on the next regular meeting agenda on <br />April 26", and that three former Police Department employees would also be recognized for <br />their service at that meeting. <br />Commissioner Chad Albritton — Seat No. 4: <br />• Attended the Casselberry Police Department's Annual Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, <br />April 7"' stating he had enjoyed hearing about some of the trials and tribulations the City's <br />Police Officers face throughout the year. Added that he felt he spoke on behalf of the entire <br />
