In response to a question from the City Commission, Mr. Gisclar advised that groundbreaking for the <br />project was expected sometime next year. <br />Budget Impact: Budget Amendment #21-032 will provide sufficient funding for Task Authorization #10, <br />in the amount of $284,176.30, by increasing the Parks Master Plan Fund Improvements Other/Wheel Park <br />— Phase 2 Account #307-0410-572.63-27 and decreasing the Parks Master Plan Fund Improvements <br />Other/Wheel Park — Phase 2 Account #307-0410-572.63-24 by $42,665. <br />BA #21-032 <br />Explanation of Request: This item seeks City Commission approval to provide additional funding for <br />Task Authorization #10 with SK Consortium for Wheel Park— Phase 2 in the amount of $42,665. Motion was seconded by <br />Commissioner Meadows. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5-0. <br />C. Award of SOQ-2021-0714 and Contract Agreement with Clancy & Theys <br />Construction Company, Inc. for Construction Manager at Risk for the Police <br />Department Complex and Related Budget Amendment #21-031 <br />Staff Presentation: Community Development Director Chris Bowley stated that award of SOQ-2021- <br />0714 and Contract Agreement with Clancy & Theys Construction Company, Inc. (Clancy) for Construction <br />Manager at Risk (CMAR) for the Police Department Complex, and approval of related Budget Amendment <br />#21-031 for Pre -Construction Services, is requested. He gave a brief overview of the process leading to <br />the request for approval, and shared images of the schematic design which had been prepared by Dewberry <br />Architects, Inc., the firm selected to prepare the master plan and initial schematic design for the project. <br />
