CASSCLBGRRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of April 12, 2021 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 10 of 15 <br />questions regarding Ordinance 21-1552. Mayor Henson opened the floor for public participation. No one <br />came forward to address Ordinance 21-1552. Mayor Henson closed the public hearing relative to <br />Ordinance 21-1552. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Aramendia moved to adopt Ordinance 21-1552 on second and <br />final reading, as presented. Motion was seconded by Vice Mayor Busch. <br />Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5-0. <br />12. OTHER ITEMS <br />A. Task Authorization #9 with SK Consortium, Inc. for Professional Design Services <br />for "Wheel Park" — Phase 1 <br />Staff Presentation: Public Works Director/Acting City Manager Mark Gisclar stated that Task <br />Authorization #9 with SK Consortium, Inc. in the amount not to exceed $205,137.70 provides for <br />professional design services for project PW 2001 "Wheel Park" — Phase 1. He explained that SK <br />Consortium, Inc. was the City's design consultant for Secret Lake Park and "Wheel Park" Phases 1 and 2, <br />and this Task Authorization was for "Wheel Park" - Phase 1, which was the portion of the project on the <br />east side of Winter Park Drive which would include playground areas for ages 2-5 and 5-12, plus restrooms <br />and pavilions. <br />Budget Impact: Sufficient funding in the amount of $205,137.70 for Task Authorization #9 is budgeted <br />and available in Parks Master Plan Fund Account #307-0410-572.63-24. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of Task <br />Authorization #9 with SK Consortium, Inc. in the amount not to exceed $205,137.70. <br />Audience Participation: No one came forward to address the City Commission regarding this item. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Aramendia moved to approve Task Authorization #9 with SK <br />Consortium, Inc. for professional design services for Wheel Park Phase 1, as <br />presented. Motion was seconded by Vice Mayor Busch. Motion carried <br />unanimously by voice vote 5-0. <br />B. Task Authorization #10 with SK Consortium, Inc. for Professional Desi)Zn Services <br />for "Wheel Park" — Phase 2 and Related Budget Amendment #21-032 <br />Staff Presentation: Public Works Director/Acting City Manager Mark Gisclar stated that Task <br />Authorization #10 with SK Consortium, Inc. in the amount not to exceed $284,176.30, together with related <br />Budget Amendment #21-032, provides for professional design services for project PW 2102 "Wheel Park" <br />— Phase 2. He explained that this Task Authorization was for the project on the west side of Winter Park <br />Drive which would include a hybrid bike and skate park, pavilions, and restrooms. He added that Phase 2 <br />would actually begin construction before Phase 1 due to a grant involved that had certain date and time <br />
