Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of Resolution 20-3194, D. Resolution 20-3197 — Interlocal Agreement with Seminole County for CARES Act Funding "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT RELATING TO CARES ACT FUNDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY AND SEMINOLE COUNTY; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE." Introduction: Resolution 20-3197 provides for approval and authorization to execute an Interlocal Agreement with Seminole County relating to CARES Act (Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act) funding. Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget at this time. A Budget Amendment will be brought to City Commission to recognize the proceeds once funds are received. Recommendation: The City Manager and the Finance Director recommended approval of Resolution 20- 3197 authorizing the execution of an Interlocal Agreement with Seminole County for the CARES Act funding. E. Application for FY20 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program Introduction: This request provides for submission of an application for funding through the FY 20 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program. Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget at this time. A budget amendment will be prepared upon award of the grant funds. Recommendation: The City Manager and the Police Chief recommended approval to participate in the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program by applying for allocated grant funding in the amount of $10,325. F. Renewal of the City's Property and Casualty Insurance Services with Florida Municipal Insurance Trust Introduction: Renewal of the City's property and casualty insurance coverage with Florida Municipal Insurance Trust (FMIT) in the amount of $605,141 provides property and casualty insurance services to the City.
