Budget Amendment #20-050 — Recognition of Revenue <br />Introduction: Budget Amendment #20-050 provides for the recognition of revenue from Mrs. Margaret <br />Marino in the amount of $750 for the FY 19/20 purchase of a police officer's bulletproof vest. <br />Budget Impact: Approval of Budget Amendment #20-050 will increase both the General Fund <br />Donations/Private Sources account #001-0000-366.91-00 and the Law Enforcement/Operating Supplies <br />account #001-0610-521.52-00 by $750 each. <br />BA #20-050 <br />Explanation of Request: This Budget Amendment seeks City Commission approval to recognize the <br />donation from Mrs. Margaret Marino in the amount of $750 for the purchase of Police Officer's bulletproof <br />vest. <br />Account Number Account Description Amount <br />Increase: <br />001-0000-366.91-00 Private Sources $750 <br />001-0610-521.52-00 Operating Supplies $750 <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Police Chief recommended approval of Budget Amendment <br />#20-050. <br />H. Amendment #1 to the Agreement with Canin Associates, Inc. for General Plaiming <br />and Economic Development Consultant Services <br />Introduction: Amendment #1 increases the not -to -exceed annual compensation from $50,000 to $150,000 <br />per year for the previously approved RFP -2020-0649 General Planning and Economic Development <br />Consultant Services Agreement with Canin Associates, Inc. <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget at this time. Task authorizations for future services <br />will be submitted for City Commission approval and subject to available appropriated funding. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Community Development Director recommended approval <br />of Amendment #1 with Canin Associates, Inc. increasing the total compensation from $50,000 to a not-to- <br />
