CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of August 10, 2020 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 9 of 11 <br />Regular City Commission meeting and make a determination whether to leave <br />the salary increase at 1.5%, or to increase the percentage if it is feasible to do so <br />based on the state of the economy and the City's revenues and expenditures at <br />that time. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Busch. Motion carried <br />unanimously by voice vote 5-0. <br />13. CITIZENS' COMMENTS <br />Mayor Glancy announced persons that wished to make comment or make inquiry on any matter not on the <br />agenda, may request to be recognized during Citizens' Comments. Mayor Glancy announced the rules of <br />decorum. No one came forward. <br />14. CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br />• Thanked the Commissioners for their consideration and guidance. <br />15. CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br />No report. <br />16. CITY CLERK'S REPORT <br />Reported the following: <br />• Early Voting began on August 8t1, and will run through Saturday, August 15t", daily from 10 <br />a.m. to 6 p.m. <br />• On the ballot for the August 18t1, election are City Commission Seat 4 and City <br />Commission/Mayor Seat 5. <br />• All precincts will be open on election day, August 1811, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and a list of those <br />precincts will be published in the Orlando Sentinel on Sunday, August 16t". <br />• The deadline for requesting mail -in ballots expired on August 8t11, and those having those <br />ballots have until 7 p.m. on election day to turn them in. They cannot be postmarked on election <br />day but must be received in the Supervisor of Elections Office in order to be counted. <br />17. CITY COMMISSIONERS' REPORTS/COMMENTS <br />Commissioner Anthony Aramendia - Seat No. 1: <br />• Reported on the CALNO meeting he had attended via Zoom on August 5t1 which was hosted <br />by the Seminole County Board of County Commissioners and Commissioner Lee Constantine. <br />
