CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of August 10, 2020 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 10 of I1 <br />A presentation was given on the Seminole CARES (Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic <br />Security) Program and how the program is funded and what type of relief it can provide to <br />Seminole County businesses, residents, not -for -profits and local government entities. Reports <br />were also given by the members about each of their organizations, including projects, events, <br />millage rates, and response to the COVID-19 pandemic. <br />Commissioner Andrew Meadows - Seat No. 2: <br />No report. <br />Commissioner Mark Busch - Seat No. 3 <br />Reported he would be attending the virtual Florida League of Cities Annual Business Meeting <br />on Thursday and Friday, August 13t1, and 14t1, on behalf of the City. <br />Shared that Leadership Seminole was still working on determining when classes could be <br />resumed, and he would be attending a virtual meeting on Thursday, August 13t" to talk about <br />the class project. He added he was hopeful the next class could be held by December and the <br />class project completed in the Spring, as it was very close when things were shut down due to <br />COVID-19. <br />Vice Mayor Bill Hufford — Seat No. 4: <br />• Expressed congratulations for the City's receipt of the Distinguished Budget Presentation <br />Award for the 15t1, year in a row and thanked Finance Department staff for a job well done. <br />Mayor Glancy — Seat No. 5: <br />• Recognized State Committeewoman Susan Dolan who was present at the meeting. <br />18. ADJOURNMENT <br />There being no further business, Mayor Glancy adjourned the meeting at 5:51 p.m. <br />
