Motion was seconded by Vice Mayor Hufford. Motion carried <br />unanimously by voice vote 5-0. <br />B. Ordinance 20-1536 — Amending Article III Development Agreements of the <br />Unified Land Development Regulations (LPA 19-12) <br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 20-1536 by title, as follows: <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE CITY <br />CODE OF ORDINANCES, PART III, UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS, <br />CHAPTER II, DISTRICT AND GENERAL REGULATIONS, ARTICLE V, ZONING DISTRICT <br />REGULATIONS, SECTION 2-5.4, SIZE AND DIMENSION CRITERIA, TABLE 2-5.4, SIZE AND <br />DIMENSION REGULATIONS, TO ADD FOOTNOTES AND MODIFY REGULATIONS; <br />AMENDING ARTICLE VII, GENERAL REGULATIONS, SECTION 2-7.21, TOWNHOUSES, TO <br />CLARIFY LANGUAGE PERTAINING TO THE APPLICATION, TO PROVIDE STANDARDS <br />FOR LOT AREA, AND TO MODIFY THE NUMBER OF DWELLINGS IN A GROUP; <br />AMENDING CHAPTER IV, SPECIFIC DEVELOPMENT PROCEDURES, TO REPEAL AND <br />REPLACE ARTICLE XX, PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT, TO PROVIDE NEW GENERAL <br />REGULATIONS, APPLICATION, CONCEPT PLAN REQUIREMENTS, AND AGREEMENT <br />REQUIREMENTS, AND STREAMLINED APPROVAL PROCEDURES; AND AMENDING <br />CHAPTER I, GENERAL ADMINISTRATION, ARTICLE III, DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENTS, <br />TO AMEND THE REVIEW PROCESS AND PROVIDE UPDATES CONSISTENT WITH <br />STATUTES; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION, CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Staff Presentation: Planner II Christina Hyson stated that Ordinance 20-1536 amends Article III, <br />Development Agreements, Article XX, Planned Unit Development, Section 2-5.4, Size and Dimension <br />Criteria, and Section 2-7.21, Townhouses, of the Unified Land Development Regulations for the purpose <br />of addressing inefficiencies and discrepancies identified by staff and to clarify and streamline procedures <br />and processes to provide consistencies between those procedures and processes with regulations and with <br />Florida Statutes. <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Community Development Director recommended approval <br />of Ordinance 20-1536 on first reading. <br />Audience Participation: No one came forward to address Ordinance 20-1536. <br />MOTION: Vice Mayor Hufford moved to approve Ordinance 20-1536 on first reading, <br />as presented.
