CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of March 23, 2020 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 8 of 13 <br />CITIZENS OF CASSELBERRY, MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC, AND CITY <br />EMPLOYEES; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE." <br />Staff Presentation: City Manager Randy Newlon stated that Resolution 20-3156 establishes a State of <br />Emergency for the City of Casselberry in order to take timely and reasonable action locally to ensure the <br />health, safety and welfare of the citizens of Casselberry, its employees and the general public, which is <br />consistent with actions taken by the federal government, the State of Florida, Seminole County and <br />neighboring cities. The State of Emergency will expire on May 8, 2020, unless the Florida State of <br />Emergency is extended by the Governor. <br />Budget Impact: There is no budget impact to the City Budget at this time. If warranted, a budget <br />amendment will be presented separately, if needed. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager recommended approval of Resolution 20-3156 <br />Audience Participation: No one came forward to address Resolution 20-3156. <br />MOTION: Vice Mayor Hufford moved to approve Resolution 20-3156, as presented. <br />Motion was seconded by Commissioner Busch. <br />The City Clerk conducted a roll call vote as follows: <br />Commissioner Aramendia - Yes <br />Commissioner Meadows - Yes <br />Commissioner Busch - Yes <br />Vice Mayor Hufford - Yes <br />Mayor Glancy — Yes <br />Motion carried unanimously by roll call voice vote 5-0. <br />10.
