Council of Local Governments in Seminole County (CALNO) Report <br />Vice Mayor Aramendia reported that the City of Casselberry hosted the meeting on Wednesday, August 7"' <br />and two presentations were given, one by Dr. Kelly Brock on the City of Casselberry Healthy Community <br />Complete Streets Policy & Design Guidelines, and one by Jason Costa on Arts & Transportation in the City <br />of Casselberry. Reports were given by the CALNO members on projects and activities within their cities <br />and agencies. Vice Mayor Aramendia thanked City Clerk Donna Gardner for arranging for the decorations <br />and meal for the members attending the CALNO meeting. <br />D. Leadership Seminole Board Report <br />Mayor Glancy had no report but recognized Commissioner Busch as a member of the current Leadership <br />Seminole class. <br />E. Mayors/Managers Group Report <br />No report. <br />9. RESOLUTIONS <br />No items were presented for consideration on this agenda. <br />10. FIRST READING OF ORDINANCES <br />A. Ordinance 19-1519 - Amending the Future Land Use Designation for Property <br />Located at 1085 Belle Avenue (LPA 19-09) <br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 19-1519 by title, as follows: <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, TO AMEND THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN BY PROVIDING FOR A CHANGE OF THE <br />FUTURE LAND USE DESIGNATION FROM INDUSTRIAL TO COMMERCIAL FOR THE <br />APPROXIMATELY 3.48 ACRE PARCEL LOCATED AT 1085 BELLE AVENUE, AS <br />DESCRIBED IN SECTION I OF THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, <br />SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Staff Presentation: Planner II Christina Hyson stated that Ordinance 19-1519 amends the Future Land <br />Use Map (FLUM) designation from Industrial to Commercial for the approximately 3.48 -acre parcel <br />located at 1085 Belle Avenue. Written notice of this land use application was posted on the subject property <br />on June 19, 2019. The Planning and Zoning Commission, serving as the Local Planning Agency (LPA), <br />voted unanimously at its July 10, 2019 meeting to recommend approval of the amendment to the City <br />Commission. <br />
