CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of August 12, 2019 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 5 of 11 <br />F. Purchase of Two 3 -Line Solar Message Boards from Safety Zone Specialists Inc <br />Introduction: This request provides for the purchase of two 3 -Line Solar Message Boards from Safety <br />Zone Specialists, Inc. in the amount of $28,800. (REF: RFQ-2019-0539) <br />Budget Impact: Funding in the amount of $28,800 was budgeted and is available in the FY 2019 Water <br />and Sewer Fund Distribution and Collection account #401-0751-536.67-35. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended the purchase of two <br />3 -Line Solar Message Boards from Safety Zone Specialists, Inc. in the amount of $28,800. <br />G. Application for FY19 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) <br />Pro am <br />Introduction: This request provides for submission of an application for funding through the FY19 <br />Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Grant Program. <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget at this time. A budget amendment will be prepared <br />upon award of the grant funds. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Police Chief recommended approval to participate in the <br />Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program by applying for allocated grant funding in the <br />amount of $10,650. <br />Audience Participation: No one came forward to address the Consent Agenda. <br />MOTION: Vice Mayor Aramendia moved to approve the Consent Agenda, as presented. <br />Motion was seconded by Commissioner Busch. Motion carried unanimously <br />by voice vote 5-0. <br />8. DISCUSSION ITEMS <br />A. Future Agenda Items <br />No items were presented for consideration. <br />B.
