CASSCLBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of October 14, 2019 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 18 of 20 <br />Budget Impact: Funding is provided through Budget Amendment #20-004 (submitted separately on this <br />agenda) which increases Other Non -Operating Source account #115-0000-389.90-00 and Tree <br />Replacement account #115-0720-541.46-15 in the amount of $25,000. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Community Development Director recommended approval <br />of the twelve (12) applications recommended through the Casselberry Tree Advisory Committee (CTAC) <br />to receive funding for the planting of new trees under the Adopt -a -Tree Program for Fiscal Year 2019. <br />Audience Participation: No one came forward to address this item. <br />MOTION: Vice Mayor Aramendia moved to approve the twelve (12) applications <br />recommended through the Casselberry Tree Advisory Committee (CTAC) to <br />receive funding for the planting of new trees under the Adopt -a -Tree Program <br />for Fiscal year 2019. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Meadows. <br />Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5-0. <br />13. CITIZENS' COMMENTS <br />Mayor Glancy announced persons that wished to make comment or make inquiry on any matter not on the <br />agenda, may request to be recognized during Citizens' Comments. Mayor Glancy announced the rules of <br />decorum. No one came forward. <br />14. CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br />• Thanked the City Commission for consideration of some very important items which were on <br />the agenda for this meeting. <br />15. CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br />No report. <br />16. CITY CLERK'S REPORT <br />Advised that the Halloween Spooktoberfest event will be coming back to Lake Concord Park <br />and will be held on Saturday, October 26t1i from 5-8 p.m. <br />Reported that digital version of the City's quarterly newsletter was slightly delayed due to a <br />glitch with the ADA (Americans With Disabilities Act) component but would be published <br />after the meeting this evening. Printed versions were available to the public at both the <br />iLLuminArt and Country Jam events last weekend. <br />
